Meet the Founder
Lataisha Young Founder, Divinity Care Home
For more than 35 years, caring for others has been more than a profession for Lataisha Young—it has been a calling. Throughout her distinguished healthcare career, she has dedicated herself to serving individuals and families with compassion, dignity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Lataisha began her journey in hospice care, where she learned the profound importance of providing comfort, peace, and compassionate support during life's most vulnerable moments. These experiences shaped her belief that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine kindness. She later transitioned into home care, where she has spent over 15 years helping seniors maintain their independence, purpose, and quality of life while remaining in the comfort of their own homes.
As a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and EDEN at Home Trainer, Lataisha is passionate about creating environments where older adults can thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her extensive experience working with some of the nation's leading home care organizations has provided her with a deep understanding of both exceptional caregiving and effective leadership.
For the past four years, Lataisha has served as Agency Director with Caring Senior Service, leading teams of caregivers, mentoring healthcare professionals, and advocating tirelessly for seniors and their families. Her leadership philosophy is simple: every person deserves to be seen, heard, valued, and cared for as family.
As Founder of Divinity Care Home, Lataisha has transformed her lifelong vision into reality—a place where compassionate care meets purpose, where residents are treated with honor and respect, and where families can find peace of mind knowing their loved ones are surrounded by love and support.
Her mission continues to be guided by a deeply held belief: that true caregiving is not just about meeting needs—it is about enriching lives, preserving dignity, and creating moments of joy, connection, and belonging every day.
Founder’s Message:
"My goal has always been to create a home where compassion leads every decision, dignity guides every interaction, and every resident is cared for as if they were a member of my own family." — Lataisha Young 💜
